Claiming a 100-92 victory over the World Basketball Association all stars in an exhibition game last night at the Run-N-Shoot on Metropolitan Parkway, the newly formed ABA Atlanta Mustangs are getting prepared for their season opener in Nashville, Tennessee this Saturday, November 20th, against the ABA Nashville Rhythm.

"We've just signed on two Georgia State standouts, 6'4" Shernard Long, and 6'6" Leroy Davis," said The Mustangs General Manager, James Bynum. "Leroy led the scoring last night with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. We know he'll be a great asset to our team."

The ABA Atlanta Mustangs are one of over 30 ABA teams nationwide beginning regular season play this week. Check your ESPN listings for the televised ABA game schedule. The Mustangs home opener will be played in Atlanta against the ABA Jacksonville Wave on Friday, December 3rd.
