Two Out Kitsap Error In Bottom of The 9th Wins It For Klamath Falls, 5-4

Klamath Falls, OR: August 5, 2013. Adam Daymude's (UC Riverside) two out grounder in the bottom of the 9th caromed off the mitt of first baseman Daniel Orr (Olympic College)and scored Cody Hough (UC Riverside) from third base to give the Gems a 5-4 win over Kitsap on Monday night at Kiger Stadium.

Hough added a home run, his eight of the year and Tyson Dahl (Oregon Tech) banged two hits for the Gems as they stayed alive in the playoff picture with the series win over Kitsap, who falls to 17-31 on the year. Jack Karraker picked up his second win of 2013 in relief as the Gems improved to 25-23 for the season. Kyle McKay (Jamestown College) lost his second game of the year for the Bluejackets.

Gems next home game is Friday, August 9th vs. the Corvallis Knights. Friday's promotion: Bottle Opener Keychain Giveaway (Courtesy of Herald and News) for the first 250 fans!
