Albuquerque, NM - The Duke City Gladiators continue their success and stake their place in arena football as two of their players scored "All CIF Team" honors.

Gladiators' Wide Receiver James Cleveland and Defensive Back Jayson Serda both received the Champions Indoor Football League nobilities. The CIF released the list of top gun players earlier this week congratulating "the great players." Cleveland was named 1st Team All CIF and Serda was named 2nd Team.

Number 21 James Cleveland exhibited why he was a standout in the league as he dominated with 51 receptions giving him 642 total offensive yards and 13 touchdowns. Cleveland was the top scorer on the Gladiator roster as he put up 80 points on the season scoreboard. He facilitated Duke City's league dominating numbers including the best passing offense with a team average of 230 passing yards a game.

Jayson Serda's success was showcased this season as he had 37 solo tackles and 9 assisted, averaging 5.8 tackles per game. The former Eastern New Mexico University standout showed that his defensive strength didn't just stop there as he had 5 interceptions, two missed field-goal returns for touchdowns and three kick return touchdowns.

"It feels awesome knowing the league recognized my hard work as well as all the other talented defensive backs in the CIF," said Serda, expressing his appreciation. "This shows the Gladiators have talent and are able to compete in the league."

Head Coach Dominic Bramante says, "We are proud of the work that these two young men have put into their craft." Bramante goes on to say, "They are ready for the next level."

This puts another tally mark in the Duke City Gladiators success column as the organization continues to showcase top-tier talent as it becomes a force to be reckoned with.
