
Two for Tuesdays Return

Brandon, MB. -- The New Year has arrived and to help celebrate 2013 the Brandon Wheat Kings, in association with the Keystone Centre have unveiled plans to bring back the popular "Two for Tuesdays" promotion this month.
The Western Hockey League club has announced that the ticket promotion, which was introduced in November, will be back for January's two Tuesday night home games.
Beginning with next Tuesday's game against the visiting Calgary Hitmen at Westman Place, fans can purchase one adult ticket and receive a second one for free (a $17 value) for this game, which is a 7pm start. Regular Showare Agency fees will apply.
Besides the great price on tickets, fans attending will have the opportunity to take advantage of some outstanding concession deals.
In addition to a price of $2.99 per beer, soft drinks, hot dogs and popcorn will again be sold for just $2 for this game.
Besides the Tuesday, January 8th game, the Wheat Kings and Keystone Centre will offer the same deals for the Tuesday, January 22nd game against the MasterCard Memorial Cup Host Saskatoon Blades.
Tickets to both January "Two for Tuesday" games, as well as this Saturday's game against the visiting Medicine Hat Tigers are on sale at the Keystone Centre box office, by calling 726-3555 or online at keystonecentre.com
This Saturday's game will feature the 2013 Home Depot Family Skate Night at Westman Place, presented by 880 CKLQ and 94.7 Star FM. As well, this Saturday is another Brandon Source for Sports Family Night.
The $48 Family Package includes two adult and two youth tickets, four 6" subs from Subway and four Wheat Kings' programs and is available only at Brandon Source for Sports.
Fans attending Saturday's game are encouraged to bring their skates and helmets to the game and join their favorite players for a "free" public skate at the conclusion of the contest.
The Wheat Kings, who close out a 3-game Alberta road trip Wednesday night in Calgary against the Hitmen, are currently 14-21-2-2 on the season and trail the eighth place Moose Jaw Warriors by three points in the race for the final playoff spot in the WHL's Eastern Conference.
