Peoria Rivermen News Release
The Peoria Rivermen are proud to announce the addition of two fantastic giveaways for the 2013-14 season, both of which are presented by the team's new official hospital, UnityPoint Health - Methodist.
Along with "Central Illinois STRONG Night" on Friday December 20, the game has also been declared UnityPoint Health - Methodist "Puck Night." The first 1,500 fans in attendance that evening will receive a special edition puck when the Rivermen battle the Bloomington Thunder at Carver Arena at 7:15 p.m.
In addition, Saturday, February 8 has been designated as UnityPoint Health - Methodist "Hat Night." The first 1,250 fans through the doors will receive a custom Rivermen hat when they battle the Columbus Cottonmouths at Carver Arena at 7:15 p.m.
"We are very excited to be adding to our promotional calendar with a pair of excellent giveaways," Rivermen co-owner Bart Rogers said. "We are also thrilled to be able to brand both our new hospital partner (UnityPoint Health - Methodist) and the Peoria Rivermen logos together for two high perceived giveaway nights. I know our fans will love the pucks and hats!"
UnityPoint Health - Methodist was announced as the team's new official hospital on October 8. It also employs Peoria's official team doctor, Dr. Brandon Bockewitz, MD.
