Twisters To Hold NASCAR Night

The Arkansas Twisters, in conjunction with KARK and Sonic, will be holding NASCAR Night on Saturday, June 7th, as the Twisters host the Hawaiian Islanders at the Alltel Arena.
Any fan wearing NASCAR memorabilia will receive $2 off any ticket in the house, plus the Twisters will be giving away a huge NASCAR package. This prize includes 2 tickets to any NASCAR race (excluding Daytona and the Brickyard), 3-day, 2-night hotel accommodations at the event, first morning breakfast for two, a 35 mm camera and a 10-minute long distance phone card. There will be no purchase necessary to sign up. Two registration booths will be located at the arena, one outside and one inside. Participants can register from the time the gates open through the end of the first quarter. Three names will then be drawn and those three will compete at halftime in the "Super Sonic Speed" contest to determine the winner.
Also, for the second year in a row, the Twisters and KARK will be teaming up for "Kicks Against Cancer Night." Last year, more than $5,000 was raised for the American Cancer Society during the inaugural "Kicks Against Cancer Night." The list of corporate sponsors already committed to this year's event include: Alltel, Jennings Osborne, One Banc, the Arkansas Cancer Research Center, and Target.
