Rochester Red Wings News Release
The Rochester Red Wings today announced that Twins legend and Baseball Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew will sign autographs on Tuesday, May 26 prior to the 7:05 p.m. game vs. the Durham Bulls.
Killebrew will sign autographs in the main concourse from 6:00 to 6:55 p.m., throw out the ceremonial first pitch, and then return to the main concourse to signing autographs from 7:15 to 8:00 p.m.
Killebrew will sign only ONE autograph per person.
Although quiet and soft-spoken, Harmon Killebrew epitomized raw power. His 573 career home runs rank him 8th on the all-time list and second only to Babe Ruth among American League sluggers. Over his 22-year career with the Senators, Twins, and Royals, he tied or led the league in home runs six times, belted 40 or more home runs on eight occasions and knocked in 100 or more runs nine times. "Killer" won the American League MVP Award in 1969, when he led the league in home runs, RBI, walks and on-base percentage.
