Texarkana Twins News Release
Texarkana, TX - Following last night's win over the Victoria Generals, the Texarkana Twins have clinched a spot in the 2018 TCL Playoffs, starting Wednesday, August 8th. The Twins will enter the playoffs as the four seeded team in the playoffs and will open up in Victoria for the one game first round matchup against the Generals.
If the Twins advance to the championship series, they will take on the winner of the other playoff matchup between the Brazos Valley Bombers and Acadiana Cane Cutters. The host team for the first game of the three game series would be the Twins on August 9th. Games 2 and 3 (if necessary) would be hosted by either the Bombers or Cane Cutters, to finish the three game series to crown the 2018 champion of the TCL.
The Twins will wrap up their final two-game regular season home series tonight at George Dobson Field. The Twins have secured a spot in the 2018 playoffs for the second season in a row!
