Tulsa's Michel Beausoleil Named Oakley CHL Player of the Week

GLENDALE, AZ (November 18, 2013) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Tulsa Oilers forward Michel Beausoleil has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending November 17, 2013. This marks the second straight week an Oiler forward has won the honor (Adam Pleskach).

The veteran scored goals in all three Tulsa games this past weekend, all wins for the Oilers. Beausoleil finished with four goals and two assists to go along with a +4 plus/minus rating over the three weekend games. The Montreal native had a power play goal and an assist in Friday's win at Wichita and then followed that up with a goal on Saturday in the rematch. Then on Sunday, Beausoleil scored a pair of goals with an assist in Tulsa's win over Brampton.

Beausoleil leads the Oilers with nine goals on the season and is tied for third with 14 points (9-5=14).
