DENVER - Mar. 1, 2008 - David Noel scored a season high 37 points in leading the Tulsa 66ers to a 119-116 double overtime win over the Colorado 14ers on Saturday night. Tulsa has now won three in a row, while Colorado fell for the first time in its last eight games.

Despite a poor shooting night, the 66ers made big shots when it counted in the fourth quarter and the two overtimes. Mike Hall and Noel both hit 3-pointers in the final 13 seconds of regulation after Eddie Gill failed to convert on either of his two free throw attempts with 20 seconds remaining. Noel's long ball tied the game at 103 forcing overtime for the second time in four match-ups between the two teams this season.

Both teams went cold in the extra periods, connecting on only nine of 32 field goal attempts between them. Tied at 110 after the first OT, Tulsa came up with the big shot again in the second overtime. Jeremy Kelly knocked down a 26 foot 3-pointer from the left wing to give the 66ers a 113-112 lead with 3:34 to play. Tulsa never trailed again as Colorado shot just three of 10 from the field in the second extra session.

"Both teams played so hard and I was very impressed by the intensity level," said 66ers Head Coach Joey Meyer. "Our guys played hard and I'm really proud. They really fought to the end."

In addition to his game high 37 points, Noel also pulled down nine rebounds and had five assists in a season-high 53 minutes of action. Adam Harrington added 21 points, and Jeremy Kelly came off the bench to score 10 points, pull down nine rebounds, and dish out 14 assists before fouling out. Keith Closs posted a double-double as well with 18 points and 10 blocked shots off the bench.

Colorado was led by Gill's season-high 33 points and 12 assists. Elton Brown had 19 points and 19 rebounds, while Eric Osmundson added 24 for the 14ers in the loss.

Colorado is off until March 9 when they will visit Rio Grande Valley. Tulsa returns home March 7 to host the Albuquerque Thunderbirds.
