Trottier and Bukowski Named Jets Players of the Week
December 17, 2007 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Fargo-Moorhead Jets News Release
(Fargo, ND) Trottier and Bukowski lead the Jets take three points in Alexandria.
Offensive: Jordy Trotier (Bozeman, MT) was where ever the puck was as he collects five assists and a goal in the shoot out of 5-4 loss on Friday and a 5-3 win on Sunday night against the Blizzard. Having two dimes on Friday and three more on Sunday including one on the game winner there's a reason why he's on the ice.
On the season Jordy has skated in all 27 games providing 20 points (5G, 15A) while maintaining a -5.
"Jordy seems to always align himself with the play in front of him and makes good decisions on the ice, especially in a time of need," explains assistant coach Kinslow.
Defensive: Brandon Bukowski (Superior, WI) crashed the net early and often making sure there were no loss rebounds from Zacharias and Okland while picking an assist. On Friday Brandon was +2 with three shots on net and Sunday struck for an assist with another +2.
"We needed our D-men to step and Bandon did just that," stated coach Kinslow.
On the season Bukowski has appeared in 26 games adding eight points (2G, 6A) with a -3.
