
Tristan Bertucci Signed to NHL Entry-Level Contract by Dallas Stars

FRISCO, Texas - The Dallas Stars and General Manager Jim Nill announced on Friday that they have signed Firebirds defenseman Tristan Bertucci to a three-year NHL entry-level contract. The contract will begin in the 2024-25 season.
Bertucci was drafted by the Stars in the second round of the 2023 NHL Draft, 61st overall. He currently leads Firebirds defensemen with 41 points on nine goals and 32 assists in 56 games played and is tied for the team lead in plus/minus at +10.
Over 181 career games for the Firebirds over the span of three seasons, Bertucci has 104 points on 21 goals and 83 assists along with a +48 plus/minus rating. The Woodbridge, Ontario native was originally selected by Flint in the first round of the 2021 OHL Priority Selection.
Bertucci and the Firebirds hit the ice on Friday night in Sarnia against the Sting. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
