
Tribe announces spring training schedule

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians (Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates) will prepare for the 2007 season with a 14-game Spring Training schedule in the state of Florida.
The Tribe will open with a March 15 tilt against the Louisville Bats (Cincinnati Reds). The Grapefruit League slate also includes affairs vs. the Norfolk Tides (Baltimore Orioles), Pawtucket Red Sox (Boston Red Sox) and Rochester Red Wings (Minnesota Twins).
Indianapolis will play its seven home contests at Pirate City in Bradenton, while the club will also travel to Sarasota and Fort Myers to face the aforementioned opponents.
