
Tri-City Storm Looking For Assistant Coach

Kearney, Neb. - The Tri-City Storm is searching for an Assistant Coach for the 2016-17 season. All interested applicants should email Storm Head Coach and General Manager Bill Muckalt at billm@stormhockey.com .
The Storm won its first Clark Cup in 2015-16, leading the postseason with the highest-scoring offense (3.82 GF/GM) and stingiest defense (1.82 GA/GM). Tri-City ran through the 2016 postseason with a 9-2 record, sweeping Sioux Falls, beating Waterloo in five games and dispatching Dubuque, 3-0, in the Clark Cup Final.
In the 2015-16 regular season, the Storm went 28-15-10-7 (73 points) and clinched the Western Conference regular season title for the second time. Muckalt instituted a balanced team; Tri-City finished seventh in goals for (3.05 GF/GM), seventh in goals against (2.73 GA/GM), third on the power play (20.8%) and sixth on the penalty kill (84.4%).
