
Tri-City Storm Lets Fans Select 10th Anniversary Team

KEARNEY - Nebraska's Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League will be celebrating its 10th anniversary during the 2009-10 season. As part of the celebration, fans will have a chance to vote for their favorite Storm players of all time to create the 10th anniversary team. The voting is currently happening at www.stormhockey.com. The voting will consist of three separate on-line polls. The first poll, available now, lists ten forwards that played for Tri-City.
The top four vote-getters will be selected to the 10th anniversary team. Starting August 3rd, fans will have a chance to vote for their favorite defenseman of all time. Again, the top four vote-getters will be named to the all-time team. Finally, starting August 10th, fans will get to select their favorite goalies to ever wear a Storm sweater. The top two goalies receiving votes will make the 10th anniversary team. The final all-time roster will consist of a total of ten players. The final results will be presented in the Tri-City Storm team yearbook available for purchase during the home opening weekend October 9th and 10th.
