North Little Rock, AR - The Arkansas Travelers were shut out for a second straight day, losing 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at Dickey-Stephens Park.

RHP Jake Junis (W, 2-2) tossed seven scoreless innings and allowed just two hits with two walks and four strikeouts.

RHP Yender Caramo and RHP Kevin McCarthy (S, 5) each pitched an inning after Junis to secure the victory.

Travs starter RHP Blayne Weller (L, 1-4) was fantastic in his outing. The righty also lasted seven innings and allowed the run on five hits with no walks and seven strikeouts, lowering his ERA to 2.62 on the season. Over his last two starts, Weller has allowed only one earned run in five of his six starts this season, including each of his last four.

LHP Tyler DeLoach and RHP Austin Wood worked scoreless eighth and ninth innings, respectively.

Junis took a no-hitter into the seventh, but RF Cal Towey's leadoff single broke up the bid.

The lone run in the game was plated on a CF Bubba Starling RBI double in the fourth.

Arkansas finished 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position and is now 11-for-last-71 with RISP.

The last four starters to face the Travs have pitched a combined 28.1 innings without allowing an earned run.

With the loss, the Travs dropped to 12-18 on the season. The two teams are scheduled to play game three of the four-game series on Monday night at Dickey-Stephens Park. First pitch is slated for 7:10 p.m.
