San Angelo Saints News Release
SAN ANGELO â The San Angelo Saints announced today that the previously published schedule for the team's 2002-2003 Training Camp has been scrapped due to the ongoing replacement of ice equipment at the San Angelo Coliseum. The camp sessions slated for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be conducted at the Expo Center in Belton, TX. Unfortunately, since the replacement rink boards will not arrive until late Friday, the team's preseason game scheduled for October 11th at 7:05 p.m. against Odessa has also been cancelled. For anyone who has already purchased a ticket to the preseason game, they can call the San Angelo Convention Center at 653-9577 for refund information.
"This was an unpredictable situation and completely beyond our control," says Saints GM Daniel Chaput. "We are now focusing all of our energy toward our home opener on October 18th."
The practice schedule should be back on track at the coliseum next week. The Saints' start the regular season on October 18th against El Paso at the San Angelo Coliseum. Season tickets, 16-game and 10-game packs, and individual game tickets are all currently on sale at the convention center.
