Dallas Fury News Release
Tonight is the beginning of a tough stretch for the Tennessee Fury. They will play their next 6 of 7 games on the road. That tough stretch begins tonight in Birmingham against the Power.
The Fury has won two games in a row and will be looking to keep that streak alive tonight. The last time these two teams met it was all Birmingham. Coco and Kelley Miller led the Power. The two combined for 43 points in the 89-75 win.
After tonight's game the Fury comes home for a date with the Chicago Blaze on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Maryville College. Then the Fury will go on the road for 5 straight. In that trip are two games against heated rival Springfield.
Coach Rodney Minggia knows how tough it can be on the road.
"It's tough on the road. It can definitely wear you down. The bottom line is we need to continue to keep playing well. The goal is to shoot for a winning record on this trip."
The Fury currently sits in fourth place with a record of 2-3 while the Birmingham Power sits just ahead of them at three up and three down.
Tickets for Sunday's game against the Chicago Blaze are still available. They can be purchased at the door for $8.
