Torrington Titans Announce Local Signing

The Torrington Titans are excited to announce the signing of local resident, and former Torrington High School star, Connor Bierfeldt. Bierfeldt is current the starting right fielder at Western Connecticut State University, Connor Bierfeldt.

The sophomore right fielder/pitcher, helped guide the Colonials to a 19-18 overall record this past spring. He was among the leaders in several offensive categories in the Little East Conference and was also named to the Little East Conference All-Star Second Team, as well as the NEIBA 2011 Second Team Division III All-New England Team.

He led the team with a .435 batting average and was tops on the club with five home runs, 41 runs batted in, 13 doubles and a .750 slugging percentage.

The Torrington Titans are a summer, wood bat, collegiate baseball team, operated by Carminucci Sports Group. The Titans play in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League Of New England.
