
Toros To Host Thirsty Thursday Celebrity Charity Game

Tucson, AZ - The Tucson Toros will host a Thirsty Thursday Celebrity softball game this coming Thursday on July 9th at 7:00 pm with a portion of the proceeds from the event benefiting Tu Nidito. The event will feature an autograph session beginning at 6:00 p.m., 7 innings of celebrity softball fun and the Toros Thirsty Thursday dollar beverage specials.
Celebrities already confirmed for the event include David Proval of The Sporanos, Sandra Robinson of Day Of Our Lives, Phil Donlon, Patrick Kilpatrick, Geoffrey Lewis and Peter Marshall, father of Toros Hitting Coach Pete LaCock and the former Host of TV's Hollywood Squares.
Local celebs participating include Editor and Publisher of the Arizona Daily Star John Humenik; KGUN Sportscaster Jake Knapp, KVOA Sportscaster Ryan Recker; KOLD Sportscaster Eric Villalobos; Tim Richards, Jennie and Blake from 92.9 The Mountain; and Chita and Adrienne Mackey from 96.1 KLPX.
Tu Nidito is a local non-profit organization that provides individual, family and group support through emotional, educational, social and spiritual services to children and their families as they deal with serious illness and death.
