Toros Home Opener, Championship Celebration this Saturday

Austin, TX November 30, 2012 - The defending 2012 NBA Development League Champion Austin Toros are set to open at home this Saturday, December 1st at 7:30 pm against the Idaho Stampede at Cedar Park Center. The Texas flag was flown atop the State Capitol this week to honor the team's championship season and will be presented to the Toros at Saturday's game.
"We're excited to tip-off our 8th season this Saturday, and invite everyone to join us for our championship celebration," said Peter Lubell, Toros COO.
Pregame festivities will include a championship banner raising and ring ceremony. Fans are invited to stay after the game for a post-game concert presented by Hemingway Restaurant and Bar, KVET Austin FM 98.1 and Miller Light featuring Mockingbird Sun.
