Austin, TX November 28, 2012 - The Austin Toros announced they will activate forward Alexis Wangmene following Kyle Weaver's placement on the inactive roster earlier today. Wangmene will wear jersey #24 when he joins the team tonight for the season opener against the Texas Legends in Frisco, Texas.
Wangmene (6-7, 241) was drafted by Austin in the 5th round of the 2012 NBA D-League draft. He played college basketball at the University of Texas where he averaged 4.6 points and 4.7 rebounds his senior season. A native of Cameroon, Wangmene represented his country at the FIBA Africa Championship in 2009 and 2011.
