
Toronto Matches Knighthawks' Offer

The Toronto Rock have matched the offer by the Rochester Knighthawks to Restricted Free Agent Garrett Billings. The Rock have retained his rights and signed him to a two-year deal. The Knighthawks had signed Billings to an offer sheet Friday, which gave Toronto until Monday evening to match the offer.
With only four weeks left in the regular season, the National Lacrosse League trade deadline is set for Tuesday, March 31st at 3:00 p.m. Teams have until noon on Thursday, April 2nd to finalize their rosters.
This weekend, Rochester will kick off a busy month with two games in two days, beginning on Friday, April 3rd with a 7:00 p.m. contest against Toronto at the Air Canada Centre. Fans can watch the game on NLL LIVE in the U.S. and on TSN.ca in Canada.
On Saturday, April 4th, the Knighthawks will host the Minnesota Swarm at 7:30 p.m. at Connors & Ferris Field at The Blue Cross Arena. That evening, Rochester will hold its annual Giveback Night to benefit local charities through the sale of Knighthawks tickets. Fans can purchase tickets at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com and through the Knighthawks Office by calling (585) 454-HAWK (4295).
