South Georgia Tormenta FC News Release
Tormenta FC lost 4-1 tonight to the Richmond Kickers at home. Mikie Rowe started off the scoring with a Goal of the Year material shot, but the homeside was unable to hold back Richmond the rest of the match.
In the 5th minute, Irish forward Mikie Rowe hit the lower side of the crossbar at just the right angle and the ball bounced in, notching his second goal of the season.
After Rowe's fantastic goal, Richmond responded too well as they scored four goals throughout the rest of the match. Richmond's Dennis Chin and Joe Gallardo each scored a brace.
Tormenta FC has a week of recovery before hitting the road to face Forward Madison FC on Saturday, September 7. Forward is currently tied for fourth place in the USL League One standings.
