No. 5: The club sweeps LA Galaxy II

The 2015 season may not have finished with a playoff berth, but within a season of tough losses was a shining example of the club's talent. And it came in the form of three wins over one of the best teams in the Western Conference: Los Angeles Galaxy II.

The first win over "Los Dos" came in just the second match of the season. Despite falling behind 1-0 in the first half, United tallied two second-half goals to earn three points on the road.

The second win of the season came much later, on August 9, when Arizona was in the middle of a five-match losing skid. On the road again, and playing at the StubHub Center, it took Long Tan and Dennis Chin all of two minutes late in the first half to give United a 2-0 lead. The club went on to win 2-1, snapped its losing streak, and picked up six out of six points on the road against LA.

Arizona completed the season series sweep in front of a raucous home crowd at Scottsdale Stadium (the second-largest crowd of the season to that point). Tan scored again against Los Dos (his third goal of the year against them) and United held to a 1-0 lead until the 75th minute when the club gave up an equalizer. Five minutes later, Arizona went down a man.

That's when Schillo Tshuma, who had been signed weeks prior after being released by the Portland Timbers, scored his first professional goal to secure a win for United.

Three matches. Three wins. Nine points against the one of the best of the west.
