Sockers Host Cleveland Tonight:

If you can't make it to the Sports Arena for tonight's 7 p.m. game against the Cleveland Force, be sure to tune in on Channel 4 San Diego for the first of six televised home games this season. Scott Kaplan calls the play-by-play and Sockers legend Juli Veee provides color commentary as the Sockers look to avenge a 10-8 loss in Cleveland last Friday. Chile's Extra Hot!

Carlos "Chile" Farias moved to the top of the MISL scoring list this week after a 10-point game in the 14-10 victory over Kansas City last Saturday. All 10 points came in the second half on two three-pointers, a two-point goal and two assists as the Sockers rallied from a 4-0 deficit at intermission.

Future Socker Star?

Congratulations to Sockers defender Gaston Pernia and his wife, Terisa, on the birth of their second child earlier this week. Son Aden weighed in at 7 pounds, 2 ounces on Wednesday.
