Williamsport, PA - Tonight's game between the Connecticut Tigers (23-22) and Williamsport Crosscutters (22-23) has been postponed due to rain. Tonight's game will be made up as a double header tomorrow night. There will be two seven inning games with the first game starting at 5:05 p.m. There will be a half hour break after the final out of the first game.
In game one, Tigers RHP Spencer Turnbull (0-1, 3.86) is slated to face Crosscutters RHP Feliberto Sanchez (2-4, 5.90). In game two of the series, Tigers RHP Fernando Perez (3-2, 4.84) is slated to face Crosscutters RHP Alejandro Arteaga (1-5, 4.43). The pre-game show begins at 4:50 p.m. on AM 1310 WICH and cttigers.com.
The Connecticut Tigers are the Class-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play in the New York-Penn League. The Tigers are in their 5th season at Dodd Stadium. Tickets are now on sale!
