Augusta Lynx News Release
The Augusta Lynx family grew by two today with the addition of Ticket Sales Account Representatives Thomas Tomlinson and Brett Handelman.
Tomlinson is a familiar face to Lynx fans, returning to the team for his fifth season with the club after having served in various capacities in years past. He is simultaneously pursuing a degree in nursing while working for the club and will handle ticket sales and accounts for the team. He resides in Augusta with his dogs, Esa and Maddux.
Handelman enters his first season with the Lynx for 06-07 after a successful run with the Augusta GreenJackets. The 25-year-old Long Island, NY native got his first taste of hockey while interning with the American Hockey League's Albany River Rats during his junior and senior years of college, moving on to minor league baseball upon graduation. Brett started in baseball with the New Jersey Cardinals before entering the Montreal Expos organization, working the team's spring training and for their minor league affiliate the Brevard County Manatees. Following his stint with Brevard County Brett moved on to the Lakewood BlueClaws before landing in Augusta.
Brett is a die-hard Islanders and Yankees fan, and also recently became a proud uncle for the first time with the birth of his nephew Logan. He resides in Augusta and begins his duties with the team effective immediately, and can be reached at (706) 724-4423, x 13.
Lynx season tickets are on sale now through the team office at (706) 724-4ICE, with single seats as low as $360. Save cash by paying in full before the June 1 Early Bird Deadline! Call a Lynx season ticket representative today so you're not shut out on all the action.
