Tomahawks Take 15-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After completing a perfect homestand, the Johnstown Tomahawks will take their show on the road when they visit the Northeast Generals for a two-game showdown in Attleboro, Mass.

The Tomahawks carry a 4-0-0 record against the Generals, with the most recent meeting coming Nov. 23-24 at 1st Summit Arena. Johnstown used a 5-2 win on Friday and a close 3-2 overtime win on Saturday to complete the sweep.

This will be the first of three meetings at the New England Sports Village for the Tomahawks and Generals.

Hebert Nets Star of the Week Nod from NAHL

Thanks to an NAHL-high 15-game winning streak, another Johnstown Tomahawks player has been recognized as the Star of the Week in the East. This past week it was Tomahawks forward Cameron Hebert's turn as the 6'1/175 lbs. native of St. Andrews West, Ontario, racked up eight points (2 goals, 6 assists) in three wins this past week.

The Robert Morris recruit began his week with a goal and two assists in an 8-2 home win on Wednesday against the Maryland Black Bears. He followed that up with another goal and two assists effort in a 5-2 win over Northeast on Friday. On Saturday, he picked up two assists in a 3-2 overtime win, as the Tomhawks completed a sweep of the Generals.

Hebert, 19, is currently 3rd in the NAHL in scoring with 35 points 26 games played.

"Cameron's play this week was very strong in all three games and he played a major factor in us being able to pick up three wins. His points came at crucial times in the games. He has such an efficient 200-foot game and is such an important member of our team on both sides of the puck. He has been everything we hoped for and more this year for our team," said Tomahawks head coach Mike Letizia.

Tomahawks Add Three Tenders to 2019-20 Class

Tomahawks Acquire Draft Pick from Brahmas

The Johnstown Tomahawks announced Thursday that the team acquired a 2019 sixth round draft pick from the Lone Star Brahmas in exchange for forward Joey Baez.

In 49 career games with the Tomahawks, Baez scored four goals and added nine assists for 13 points.

Chiefs Heritage Night Rescheduled

Johnstown Chiefs Heritage Night Moved to January 19.

The Tomahawks have announced that Johnstown Chiefs Heritage Night, previously scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 24, has been RESCHEDULED for Saturday, Jan. 19 at 7 p.m.

The event will correspond with the Flyers Alumni Classic prior to the Tomahawks game at 3:30 p.m.
