Storyline
The Tauros come into the weekend sitting atop the Central Division three points ahead of their opponent the Austin Bruins. The Tauros have taken three of the four meetings with the Bruins this season, all of which have taken place this month.
Tauros
Despite being held to just five goals last weekend in a split with Aberdeen the Tauros remain the third ranked offense in the NAHL averaging 3.70 goals per game. Keenan Lund leads the Tauros with 22 points on six goals and 16 assists. Didrik Henbrant and Fritz Belisle lead the Tauros with 10 goals each. In total the Tauros have 10 players with at least 15 points, three more players then second-best Johnstown. Henbrant, David Raisanen, and Sam Skinner lead the Tauros against the Bruins with four points apiece.
Defensively the Tauros are 10th in goals allowed per game at 2.57. Nicholas Grabko has taken the lion's share of the workload in net for the Tauros playing 16 of the Tauros 23 games going 11-3-0 with a 2.45 GAA and .921 SV%.
Bruins
The Bruins remain the most defensively stingy team in the NAHL allowing just 1.95 goals against per game and 25.09 shots against per contest. Kyle McClellan and Brett Miller have combined for a sparkling .932 SV% and 1.65 GAA while splitting time.
Dante Sheriff leads the Bruins both on the season and against the Tauros with 23 total points three of which (1 goal, 2 assists) came against the Tauros. Andrew Willis has three of his six goals against the Tauros this year and is second on the Bruins with 16 points. The Bruins offense ranks 10th overall with 2.86 goals per game.
