Lynn, MA – The North Shore Spirit game vs. the New Haven County Cutters, scheduled for Sunday, August 15 at the New Fraser Field, has been cancelled due to heavy rains and unplayable field conditions. The game will be made up next week as a doubleheader when the Spirit travel to New Haven.

The Spirit ticket policy for postponement is as follows: Anyone holding a ticket for the August 15 game may exchange it at the Spirit ticket office on Western Avenue for a ticket of equal value to any subsequent game of the 2004 home regular season, subject to availability. Tickets may be exchanged at the box office in advance or at the gate on game day. This policy can also be found on the back of each Spirit ticket.

The Spirit ticket office is located at 365 Western Ave in Lynn and can be reached by calling 781-592-0007.

The Spirit travel to New Jersey and New Haven for six games and return home on Tuesday, August 24 for a three game series against cross-town rivals the Brockton Rox.

August 24 is East Boston Savings Bank Super Surprise Giveaway Night. The first 1,000 fans of all ages will receive a super-secret surprise giveaway, courtesy of East Boston Savings Bank. Monkey Boy will return to action on Tuesday to tickle your funny bone and anyone with a Citizens Bank debit card can show your card at the box office and receive two tickets for the price of one, courtesy of Citizens Bank.
