
Tod Turner named GM/coach of Baltimore ABA team

Baltimore, MD. Kibwe "Brother Bey" Bey, co-owner of the American Basketball Association (ABA) professional basketball team that begins play in November today announced that Roderick A. Turner has been named General Manager/Head Coach of the newly formed team. According to Bey, "Rod has a vision of making it the most elite basketball team in the league. Many players in the DC/Baltimore area know him for his winning attitude and passion for the game of basketball. He has coached and trained former and current players in the NBA and has won numerous titles in leagues and tournaments across the country."
Highlights of Turner's distinguished career include:
Won Nike Pro-Am Championship (2000-2004)
Head Coach of Georgetown University's Freshman Men's Summer League
Coached Various Teams in Entertainers Basketball Classic Rucker Park Tournament in NY.
Chairman of Washington DC EBC Tournament
Universityh of Maryland Basketball Camp Director
Steve Francis Basketball Camp Director
Jerome Williams Basketball Camp Director
Georgetown University's Mens Basketball Camp Director
Marymount University's Men's Basketball Camp Director
