
Toby Thomas Named Player of the Week

Bristol Sox middle infielder Toby Thomas has been named Appalachian League player of the week for the week of July 8-14. Thomas was selected by Minor League Baseball's staff.
Thomas batted .423 during the week with two home runs and eight runs batted in. He also scored six runs and stole a base. Three doubles on the week brought his slugging percentage for the week to a whopping .769.
"We're always excited to see our boys perform well together and individually, and we are tickled to death for Toby to receive this honor," Sox GM Mahlon Luttrell noted
