Titans Winning Streak Snapped
March 20, 2016 - Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL)
Danbury Titans News Release
The last time the Titans lost any game was to the Dayton Demolition back on February 20th in a shootout. The Demolition handed the Titans their first loss since that day and their first regulation loss since February 5 by winning 7-4.
Dayton scored three goals in the first period before the Titans were able to get on the board when John Scorcia scored a power play goal. Dayton would add one more tally by the end of the first period. The Demolition would add two in the second frame to take a commanding lead into the third.
The Titans would not go quietly however and put up a valiant comeback effort as they scored three goals early in the third. Ian DeLong, Ryan Patsch, and Mike Driscoll gave the Titans hope but it would not be enough as Dayton would add one more goal before the end of the game.
The Titans will return home next weekend when they host the Dayton Demolition on Friday March 25 and then their final meeting with the Brewster Bulldogs on Saturday March 26. Both puck drops are at 7:35 PM. For tickets and information visit www.danburytitans.com or call 844-DTHOCKEY.
