Titans Sign 1 from Dowling and 2 from Bates

The Titans are excited to announce the signing of three more players. Infielder, from Dowling College, RJ Going, Shortstop Brendan Fox, and Pitcher/Outfielder Samuel Warren both of Bates College will all be playing for the Titans this season!

RJ Going is a native of Bayshore, New York and is in his second year at Dowling College. In 45 games this season RJ is batting .324, with 2 home runs, and 23 stolen bases.

Head Coach Dan McNamara said, "RJ Going is an excellent infielder that we're excited to sign for the summer season. His offensive stats speak for themselves and he is a really solid defender."

Brendan Fox is a Connecticut native from West Hartford who is finishing up his freshman year at Bates College. This spring at Bates Fox has hit a respectable .261, with 14 RBI's.

Head Coach Dan McNamara said, "Brendan Fox will be a strong player for us defensively this summer."

Samuel Warren is a native of Norfolk, Virginia and is finishing up his sophomore year at Bates College. In 31 games at the plate Warren is hitting a solid .317, with 1 home run, and 9 RBI's. In 14.2 innings pitched Samuel has managed a 2.25 ERA with 15 strikeouts.

Head Coach Dan McNamara said, "Samuel Warren is a double threat: he pitches and plays outfield. This spring, when he wasn't patrolling the outfield, he was on the mound as both a starter and a reliever."

The Torrington Titans provide student-athletes from New England and New England colleges the opportunity to compete and play with the elite players from across the country and to promote them to MLB organizations.
