Torrington Titans News Release
The Pittsfield Suns (22-25) beat the Torrington Titans (21-24) 4-3 on Saturday at Wahconah Park behind Brendan Geary, who went 2-4.
He tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.
The Torrington Titans couldn't get anything going as long as Connor Johnson was pitching. Johnson held the Torrington Titans hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.
Evan DeVico ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
