(Orlando, FL) - The Palm Beach Titans and Florida Flight played their final exhibition game prior to beginning their regular seasons next month. In a game that went back and forth for much of the fourth quarter, the Titans prevailed 120-116.

T.T. Hall led the Titans in scoring with 29 points, but it was the three-point shooting of Andy Stoute that ultimately made the difference. Stoute scored 16 of his 24 points in the final frame.

The Flight climbed back from a 21-point third-quarter deficit and actually took the lead with 5:26 remaining on a basket by Garvin Gordon, whose 32 points led all scorers.

However, four free throws by Hall and a three-pointer by Stoute broke open a 106-106 tie and put the Titans ahead for good.

Also scoring in double figures for the Flight were Jonathan Adamson with 19, Greg St. Remy with 17 and Corey Williams with 14.

"I am very proud of the way our guys fought back," said Flight Owner and Coach Mark King. "We played until the final whistle, and when you are up against a sharp-shooting team like the Titans, that is all you can ask for as a coach. We'll clean up some of our mistakes and be ready for another championship- contending season."

The game was also a fundraiser for Bithlo, an underprivileged community just outside of the Orlando area. The Flight, offering up a percentage of each ticket, collected over $400, which will be allocated towards an effort to raise funds for a much needed bus for the area students.

"When you can use a game to help raise money and awareness for causes like this, there is always victory in that!" said King.

"Getting this bus will be transformational for the Bithlo community," said Timothy McKinney, Executive Vice-President of United Global Outreach. "We'd like to thank the Florida Flight for partnering with United Global Outreach and Orange County Academy to raise the funds and awareness for this purpose."

The Florida Flight regular season begins Saturday, May 12th at Avalon Middle School at 5:00pm. Individual tickets are $10.

Florida Flight "Frequent Flyer" Season tickets are also on sale for just $30.
