Steve Dill knocked in Ryan Olmo with the go ahead run and Tom Hackimer and Adam Whitt kept Torrington hitless over the final two innings to make a winner of Pittsfield in game #1 by a score of 4-3. Pat Austin pitched 5.2 strong innings to earn the victory in the nightcap game as the Titans knocked off the Suns 7-2 and earn a split of the days doubleheader. Mike Odenwaelder had three hits to pace the Torrington offense while Ryan Kelly added 2 hits and 2 RBI.
