Game One:

Old Orchard Beach- Tom Hudon (Merrimack, New Hampshire/Saint Anselm College), pitched a complete game, and allowed no runs in to lead the Nashua Silver Knights past the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide 6-0

Hudon allowed four hits, two walks and struck out three.

The Nashua Silver Knights outhit the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide ten hits to four. The Nashua Silver Knights scored three runs in the seventh on an RBI single by Jimmy Ricoy (Lowell, Massachusetts/UMass Lowell) and a two-run double by EJ Martinez (Brooklyn, New York/Endicott College).

The Nashua Silver Knights were led by Matt Mottola (Newburyport, Massachusetts/UMass Lowell), who went 3-4 with a double and two runs scored.

Harry Ridge (Yarmouth, Maine/Bowdoin College) ended up with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out two.

Game Two:

The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide left six runners on base, as the Nashua Silver Knights swept the doubleheader against the Tide 2-1.

Jimmy Ricoy (Lowell, Massachusetts/UMass Lowell) went 3-3 at the plate with three singles and one run scored.

Jake Mellin (Nashua, New Hampshire/University of Hartford) picked up his fourth win of the summer for the Nashua Silver Knights. Mellin allowed just one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out one.

Nick Whittaker (Yarmouth, Maine/St. Josephs College) allowed two earned runs, seven hits and no walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Whittaker (5-2) picked up his second loss of the summer.
