LAST NIGHT: The TinCaps defeated the Lugnuts, 5-4, due to a go-ahead 8th inning RBI single from Lucas Dunn. Nick Thwaits earned the win in relief with three perfect innings prior to the crucial hit.

PROMOTIONS: Tonight, is Marvel's Defenders of the Diamond, featuring an Iron Man character appearance. The team is wearing Iron Man-inspired jerseys that will be given away to fans in attendance. Postgame fireworks are presented by CSL Plasma... On Saturday, Tyler's Amazing Balancing Act, as seen on America's Got Talent, will entertain. The Three Rivers Festival finale fireworks will be shot off the Indiana Michigan Power tower at 10 p.m.

HOT CAPS: The TinCaps have won 3 in a row and 6 of their last 7 games. Earlier this season, Fort Wayne won 4 consecutive games from April 16-20 vs. South Bend and at Lansing. In fact, they won 7 of 8 through April 24.

The current MLB leader is Miami's Jon Berti with 28.

COREY ROSIER: Leads the MWL in runs (61), while ranking 2nd in triples (7), 5th in stolen bases (26) and walks (51; 16%), and 10th in OBP (.374)... He's swung and missed at only 9% of pitches, the 5th lowest rate in the league... 4th in BB/K (0.85).
