Clarke Heads off to Futures Game, Placed on Temp. Inactive List

Lansing Lugnuts News Release
The Lansing Lugnuts announced the following roster change, in conjunction with the Oakland Athletics:
- Outfielder Denzel Clarke placed on Temporarily Inactive List
Clarke, 22, joins Triple-A catcher Shea Langeliers in representing the Oakland Athletics' organization in Saturday's seven-inning MLB Futures Game in Los Angeles. The Pickering, ON, native was selected in the fourth round of the 2021 draft out of Cal State Northridge. Clarke, batting .250 with two doubles and three homers in 14 games with the Nuts, is rated MLB Pipeline's No. 14 prospect in the A's system.
Additionally, outfielder Brayan Buelvas, currently on the Lugnuts' Injured List, is removed to begin an MiLB rehab stint in the Arizona Complex League.
