Time Warner Sports "Keith Tozer Show" brings fans inside look at the Wave

MILWAUKEE, WI (Jan. 11, 2007) - Two personalities familiar to Wisconsin sports fans have teamed up for a new television show that takes viewers up close and personal with the Milwaukee Wave.

"The Keith Tozer Show," hosted by Dennis Krause, appears on Time Warner Sports, channel 32, at 6 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Monday, as well at other times throughout the week. Shows are filmed every two weeks. The new Wisconsin sports network also broadcasts selected Wave games on a tape-delay basis.

Tozer, the Wave's head coach and vice president of soccer operations, is a veteran of local media, appearing regularly on radio shows up and down the dial. Krause is a two-time Wisconsin Sportscaster of the Year and a regional Emmy winner. They'll discuss the on-field progress of the four-time league champions, provide a closer look at the players leading the team this year and detail the upcoming games and events at the U.S. Cellular Arena.

"Keith Tozer is a soccer institution in this area and this show gives us a chance to introduce some of the players to the fans and tell some of their stories," Krause said. "We want to have fun and have people learn more about indoor soccer."

The Milwaukee Wave was established in 1984 as one of six charter members of the American Indoor Soccer Association (AISA). In 2001, the Wave transitioned to being a successful member of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). Through the guidance of head coach Keith Tozer, the winningest coach in Wave and North American indoor soccer history, the Wave has won four league titles (1997-98, 1999-00, 2000-01, 2004-05), seven regular season championships, and has made seven championship series appearances.
