
Timbers, MLS Welcome Nationwide 4v4 Tournament to Delta Park This Saturday

PORTLAND, Ore. - In conjunction with Major League Soccer, the Portland Timbers welcome ¡Futbolito!, the official 4v4 soccer tournament of MLS, to Portland's Delta Park on Saturday, Sept. 18. The day-long event includes soccer activities for fans of all ages.
MLS ¡Futbolito! concludes its nationwide, 13-city tour with its only stop in the Northwest on Saturday. The tournament is open to players of all abilities from U-8 to adult. For adults, competition is open to both men and women, with the option of competing in the Adult Premier or Adult Recreation divisions. Games and activities start at 9 a.m.
Teams of up to seven players can sign up online at www.portlandtimbers.com or www.mlsfutbolito.com. The registration fee is $120 for youth and adult recreation teams and $150 for teams competing in the adult premier bracket.
The winner of the Adult Premier division will receive $2,000, with the runner-up taking home $1,000. The finalists from each division receive medals. All participants receive a 50-percent off pass to the adidas corporate store.
