PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers play host to the expansion California Victory on Friday and Sunday at PGE Park. With two games this weekend, the Timbers and Victory wrap up their five-game season series.

The match on Friday will be broadcast live on www.portlandtimbers.com and Fox Soccer Channel. The first 2,000 fans on Friday will receive a Timber Jim bobblehead presented by Toyota; kickoff is set for 8 p.m.

Sunday's match is the annual Teddy Bear Toss to benefit Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed teddy bear or animal to toss on the field after the Timbers score their first goal of the match. The match begins 6 p.m. and will be broadcast live on www.portlandtimbers.com.

The Timbers (7-2-3, 24pts) have won three straight and have not allowed a goal since June 21 against the Montreal Impact - a span of 274 minutes. Portland's defense has allowed the fewest goals (7) in the USL First Division and has helped the Timbers post a 4-0-3 record at PGE Park this season.

California (2-8-5, 11pts) has lost three in a row including their third round U.S. Open Cup match to Major League Soccer's Colorado Rapids, 3-1, on Tuesday. Including the U.S. Open Cup match this week, the Victory has been outscored 9-2 in their last three matches.

Portland leads the season series between the two clubs 3-0-0. In their last meeting on July 7, midfielder Andrew Gregor tallied a goal and an assist to lead the Timbers to a 3-0 win at Kezar Stadium. The Timbers have played the Victory in two of their last three matches.

KICKOFF FOR AUG. 26 MATCH IN PUERTO RICO NOW 3 P.M. (PACIFIC) Kickoff for the Timbers match on Aug. 26 in Puerto Rico against the Islanders has changed and will now be at 3 p.m. (Pacific), it was announced today.
