Timber Rattlers Schedule FanFest for April 5

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will hold their annual FanFest at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium on Tuesday, April 5. The free, open house event will be held from noon until 5:00pm to allow fans their first glimpse of the 2016 Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

Admission and parking are free for FanFest and fans will be able to enjoy a day at the ballpark and get autographs from players. All fans to attend the event will receive a free voucher good for a hot dog, soda, and popcorn. Plus, the Snake Pit Team Store and the ticket office will be open during FanFest to allow you to purchase merchandise and tickets for any game during the 2016 season.

The Timber Rattlers will take the field for practice at 1:00pm. A five-inning scrimmage against the Mellen Rockies will begin at 3:00pm.

The Rockies are an amateur team based out of Mellen, Wisconsin in southern Ashland County. Their roster is made up of seventeen players from Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The Rockies play a 15-20 game schedule that leads up to the Wisconsin Baseball Association's 35+ older State Tournament that will be held in Chippewa Falls August 19-21.

The Timber Rattlers will begin the 2016 season at Beloit on Thursday, April 7. Wisconsin's home opener is Saturday, April 9 at 4:05pm against the Beloit Snappers.

Full season, partial season, and group ticket packages are currently available for the 2016 season. Tickets packages are available online, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or (800) WI-TIMBER and in person. Groups of 20 or more may order tickets over the phone or in person. Individual game tickets for the 2016 are on sale now. The Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium Box Office is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
