Victoriaville Tigres News Release
VICTORIAVILLE, Monday, April 6, 2006 (QMJHL) - The Victoriaville Tigres announced today that they will not be renewing the contract of their head coach, Stephan Lebeau. The decision was made after Stephan Lebeau met with both the team's president, Ãric Bernier, and its general manager, Jérôme Mésonéro earlier this morning.
"Since arriving as the team's general manager, Stephan Lebeau has always displayed outstanding professionalism and I appreciated that he always put the priorities of the team over his own," said Jérôme Mésonéro.
M. Lebeau had been with the organization since the beginning of the 2004-05 season. He registered 52 wins, 78 losses, 5 overtime losses and 5 shootout losses in 140 regular season games.
