Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release
In accordance with provincial guidelines effective today, Wednesday, September 22, 2021, all patrons of Tim Hortons Field on event days (including media, fans aged 12 and older, gameday staff, etc.) will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination along with photo identification to gain entry to the facility. Proof of a negative COVID-19 test will no longer be accepted for admittance to ticketed events.
Beginning with Forge FC's home match on September 25 against Pacific FC, proof of vaccination and photo identification will be checked upon entry to Tim Hortons Field. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats first game under the new guidelines is October 2 against the Montreal Alouettes.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Forge FC continue to prioritize the health and safety of everyone attending Tim Hortons Field for events during the 2021 season. As we continue to operate in a fluid environment, we will keep everyone updated on any changes to this policy moving forward. We collectively thank everyone for their patience, understanding and cooperation as we all continue to navigate through these difficult times together.
