Mobile pulled into a first-place tie with Huntsville in the National Basketball Development League standings with a 93-89 victory over the Flight Tuesday night at the Mardi Gras Dome in Mobile. The Revelers outrebounded the Flight 42-23 while improving to 4-2 on the young season. Huntsville is 5-3.

MIKE WILKS SCORES 26

In spite of Huntsville's 93-89 loss at Mobile Tuesday, Flight guard Mike Wilks poured in 26 points on an 11-for-13 shooting night from the floor.. He was a perfect 4-for-4 from beyond the three-point line. Lonnie Harrell hit five three-pointers on his way to 20 points for the Flight and Brandon Williams chipped in 15 points and seven assists.

SIMMONS' 19th and 20th SEAL THE DEAL

Bobby Simmons hit two free throws with 15.3 seconds left, his 19th and 20th points of the game, to snap an 89-all tie and seal a 93-89 win for Mobile Tuesday night. Simmons was 8-for-11 from the floor.

NATE AND TANG

Columbus' dynamic duo of Nate Johnson and Tang Hamilton combined for 33 points and 16 rebounds as the Riverdragons handed North Charleston its fourth straight loss Tuesday at the Columbus Civic Center. Johnson had 17 points and eight boards in the 79-77 victory, while Hamilton had 16 points and eight rebounds. Tierre Brown and Corey Benjamin had 18 points each for the Lowgators.

T SHANNON DAZZLES THEM

Roanoke's Terrence Shannon scored 21 points in 25 minutes as the Dazzle grabbed win number three, 76-64, at Asheville Tuesday night. All 21 of Shannon's points came in the second half on a 9-for-11 shooting night from the floor. Eddie Gill had 19 points and six assists for Asheville.

ESPN2 LIFT OFF AT 4 P.M. TODAY

The NBDL on ESPN2 resumes this afternoon at 4 p.m. ET with the airing of last Saturday's Columbus at Huntsville game. Riverdragons' forward Tang Hamilton stars in a fun opening for the broadcast from the NASA Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville.
