Norfolk held off a late Lehigh Valley rally for a 5-4 win on a rainy Wednesday night at Harbor Park.

Jeff Salazar once again led Norfolk's offense, as he singled twice, walked twice, scored two runs and drove in another. His 2-for-3 evening upped his average to .284 for the season.

Michel Hernandez also had two hits for Norfolk, while Michael Aubrey added an RBI single.

Chris George (3-2) earned the win, as he allowed two runs on five hits and a walk in 5.2 innings of work. George struck out six in the contest to help Norfolk pick up its second straight win in the series.

Dennis Sarfate got the final four outs of the game to earn his 10th save of the season.

Former Tide Andy Tracy had a single, two doubles and a triple to pace Lehigh Valley, while Cody Ransom homered and drove in three.

The game was delayed for nearly two hours prior to first pitch due to heavy rain and lightning in the area.

The Tides and IronPigs will wrap up their four-game set on Thursday afternoon, with first pitch slated for 12:15. Chris Tillman (5-4, 3.12) will take the hill for Norfolk against right-hander Nelson Figueroa (3-0, 0.95).
