(ROUND ROCK, TX) – Don't miss this annual opportunity to honor area athletes and meet with members of the 2005 Houston Astros. Tickets are still available for the Express Winter Baseball Banquet and the Houston Astros Caravan. Both events will be held in the United Heritage Center, located at The Dell Diamond.

The Round Rock Express, along with the Round Rock Sertoma Club, will host the fifth annual Express Winter Baseball Banquet on Saturday, January 22nd, beginning at 6:00 PM. Morgan Ensberg, the former Round Rock Express and current Houston Astros third baseman, will be the featured speaker.

The Express, along with of area high school coaches, have selected a pre-season Central Texas All-Star high school team. These athletes will be honored, along with college and professional players and pitchers-of-the-year.

Tickets are $100 and are available through Sertoma or may be purchased in The Railyard, the Express retail store, located at The Dell Diamond. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Proceeds from this event provide funds for the Round Rock Sertoma Club to assist area citizens with hearing disorders. There will also be a silent auction in conjunction with the event.

The 2005 Houston Astros Caravan will travel to Round Rock on Tuesday, February 8th. The luncheon will start at noon in the United Heritage Center, located at The Dell Diamond. Astros' fans will have the opportunity to meet General Manager Tim Purpura, Manager Phil Garner, Hall of Fame Broadcaster Milo Hamilton, and outfielders Jason Lane and Lance Berkman.

Please call the ticket office at 255-2255 (extension 6) if you have any questions about your account. Also, information on how to purchase your seats for the Exhibition Game with the Astros on April 1, 2005, will be arriving in the mail shortly.
